Data sources & coverage

LeadGen Engine doesn’t maintain a static contact database — instead, we query licensed enrichment providers in real time when you make a request. The combined addressable universe across our integrated providers is up to ~180M+ verified business contacts in the US alone, with billions of person-records globally available on demand.

This page documents exactly which providers we use, what they cover, and how the math works.

Integrated providers

ProviderCapabilityAddressable scope (provider-published)
PeopleDataLabs Person enrichment (email + phone + employment history) ~3 billion person profiles globally; ~250M+ US-business contacts
Hunter.io Email finder + email verifier ~107M companies indexed; ~210M+ verified business emails
Smarty (SmartyStreets) US/intl address validation (USPS-certified) Every deliverable address in 240+ countries
Twilio Lookup Phone validation + carrier + line-type Every routable phone number globally

How “up to 180M+ addressable” works

When you enrich a contact through LeadGen Engine, your request is routed to the right provider for the capability you asked for:

Combined, that’s an addressable universe of well over 180M+ business contacts — the limiting factor for any given customer is their LeadGen Engine plan budget, not the underlying provider coverage.

What “addressable” means. We don’t pre-import every record into our database — that would be billions of dollars in licensing fees passed through to customers. Instead, you pay per enrichment, and we fetch fresh data from the provider in real time. Every email is verified at the moment you ask, not at some historical batch-refresh point. The trade-off: exploration browsing isn’t free; structured API enrichment is.

Why this matters vs. ZoomInfo/Apollo

ZoomInfo and Apollo maintain their own pre-licensed databases of similar scale (~hundreds of millions of contacts each) and recoup costs via $5K–$50K+ annual seat-based contracts. LeadGen Engine accesses the same underlying provider ecosystem on a pay-per-call basis, which means:

Compliance & data governance

Every integrated provider maintains compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and relevant US state privacy laws. LeadGen Engine doesn’t retain enriched contact data beyond your CRM-sync window unless you explicitly request historical enrichment storage. Suppression lists (bounces, unsubscribes, TCPA opt-outs) are honored portfolio-wide across all Jon Lynch Financial Group sales tools.
